LANDS does not communicate meaning. It creates a sensory condition. The artist associates inner experience with material qualities, allowing matter itself to become a carrier of perception rather than representation. These material qualities activate the viewer's perception and imagination, making the emergence of new, personal meanings possible.

LANDS is not concerned with depicting landscapes, nor is it an abstraction of nature. It investigates the conditions under which perception begins to organise material into experiential reality. What may appear as terrain, geological formations, maps or topographies is not represented intentionally. Such associations arise through the encounter between the work and the observer.

 

Rather than depicting objects, LANDS explores appearance itself. Rather than

presenting meaning, it explores the formation of meaning. Rather than describing places, it constructs sensory topographies, open structures in which each observer forms an individual experience shaped by memory, perception and imagination.

LANDS proposes that what we perceive may not be fundamental, but the outcome of a deeper process. The works investigate the material conditions from which perception, imagination and meaning emerge.

Each "LAND" proposes its own way of seeing. The Fields of Forces make visible the movements, tensions, attractions and counter-movements that structure each painting. Each name gives language to an inner state of the work. Together, they are part of my own process: a way of stripping the experience back to its underlying structure.
