These photo-based digital paintings dwell on the threshold between remembrance and forgetting, where the image is no longer a document, yet still holds the vibration of reality.
In this series, the past is not closed but constantly reshaping itself: a material of haze, fragments, and imagination.
The images live only as long as there is someone to look at them, someone willing to pause, to linger, and to reconnect with the time that has already vanished.
Without such a gaze, the stories will fade once more.
"Curriculum"
Curriculum is an allegory of a life lived in service with dignity, endurance, and quiet completion.
Two women stand mirroring each other: the same person at twenty and at ninety, the artist’s grandmother.
Their garments recall the motif of the maid, a life devoted to others yet carried with inner strength and stillness.
The symmetry evokes the face of an old clock, time has already stopped.
In stillness, the young and the elderly figures turn toward one another; their gaze closes the circle of life.
